Take Charge of Your Diabetes
Kelsey-Seybold offers outstanding educational opportunities to help you manage your diabetes. We have certified diabetes care and education specialists (CDCESs) and registered dietitians (RDs) who will help you manage your diabetes and stay motivated to live a healthier lifestyle.
Our CDCESs will help you understand both diabetes as a whole and the medical management of diabetes, including glucose monitoring and medications, while working closely with your physician. Our RDs will help you incorporate lifestyle changes, such as meal planning and exercise, to further assist you with managing your diabetes. The guidance presented is personalized for your individual needs. Just as you change over time, diabetes also changes, which is why it's so important to follow up with your CDCESs and RDs at least every six months.
Kelsey-Seybold endocrinologists work closely with your primary care doctors to ensure coordinated care of your Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.
Kelsey-Seybold endocrinologists see patients over 18 with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. Often, gestational diabetes can be managed by an obstetrician along with a CDCES and RD.
