Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Appoints Dr. Mario Lamothe

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is pleased to announce that Mario Lamothe, M.D., has been appointed as Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's Chief of the Rheumatology Department. Dr. Lamothe has dedicated his service and compassion to patients since he joined the medical team at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in 1998.
Dr. Lamothe earned his medical degree at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Md. He completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, part of the University of Medicine and Dentistry, in Newark, N.J. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and is especially interested in the clinical areas of epidemiology and preventive medicine.
When treating patients affected by rheumatic diseases, Dr. Lamothe believes in applying a balance of compassion, commitment and knowledge, which helps lead to better outcomes and an improved quality of life.
