Artists Create Exhibit for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
WHAT:
Three members of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Breast Cancer Support group will be on hand to discuss their story and display their works of art. For people living with cancer, art can be a powerful form of self-expression.
This support group, sponsored by the Kelsey Research Foundation, the Kelsey-Seybold Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society, meets monthly at Kelsey-Seybold's Main Campus near the Texas Medical Center and is designed to help women learn to live, understand and cope with a diagnosis of breast cancer. Group meetings are under the guidance of health care professionals and will provide an opportunity for women to share common experiences, problems and solutions in a supportive atmosphere.
