Children ages 5 to 14 account for nearly 40 percent of all sports-related injuries treated in hospital emergency rooms. In active baby boomers, osteoarthritis of the knee is the most common problem faced today.
On Sept. 4, as part of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Healthy Living Webinar series, Orthopedic Surgeon Oladapo Alade, M.D. will present “Sports Savvy: Battling and Preventing Injuries and Infections in Athletes of All Ages.”
