Doc Talk: Communicating Clearly With Your Physician
Dr. Patrick Carter to discuss ways to improve healthcare in Webinar
|
WHAT:
|
How many times has this scenario happened to you? As you sit in the examination room, your physician explains your diagnosis. But the second they leave the room, you realize that the doctor used words you didn’t understand; not to mention you’ve already forgotten the instructions for taking your medicine and you forgot to ask them an important question.
On July 10, as part of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Healthy Living Webinar series, Family Medicine Department Chief Patrick Carter, M.D. will provide patients with the tools they need to understand their physician’s treatment plan, as well as help their doctor provide them with better care in “Doc Talk: Communicating Clearly With Your Physician.”
Guests are invited to listen and e-mail their questions to Dr. Carter, who will answer questions following his presentation.
