Dr. Kelsey Honored with Lecture at M.D. Anderson

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic founder Dr. Mavis P. Kelsey (center), one of the original members of the early endocrinology staff at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, was honored April 17 before a lecture named for him at M. D. Anderson. The Kelsey Research Foundation sponsored the lecture on geriatric cancer care by Harvey Jay Cohen, M.D., professor and chairman of the Department of Medicine at Duke University Medical Center. The event took place during The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Division of Internal Medicine’s 2009 Research Retreat. Pictured with Dr. Kelsey are M. D.
