Colorectal Cancer: Preventable, Treatable, Beatable

Kelsey-Seybold expert discusses risks and prevention in March 6 webinar
 
WHAT:
 
Dr. Muhammed Nathani, medical director of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's Surgery Center at Spring and Associate Chief of the Department of Gastroenterology, will discuss risks, prevention and treatment options for colorectal cancer, the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States.
Guests are invited to listen and email their questions in an anonymous setting. The presenter will answer questions following his presentation.

Anyone concerned about their colorectal cancer risks, or who is over age 50.

Friday, March 6
12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The presentation will run from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. A question/answer session will follow from 12:45 to 1 p.m.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is committed to bringing information to Houstonians to improve their understanding of colorectal cancer and that the disease is preventable, treatable and beatable.

About Muhammed Nathani, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.G.
Dr. Muhammed Nathani, Associate Chief of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's Department of Gastroenterology, leads the gastroenterology team as medical director of the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Surgery Center at Spring. Dr. Nathani earned his medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine, as well as fellowship training in gastroenterology and an additional one-year general hepatology fellowship at the Detroit Medical Center, part of Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Nathani is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Nathani is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. He has authored several publications and national presentations in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. He is also an active member of the Harris County Medical Society and the National Medical Association. Dr. Nathani enjoys the entire spectrum of clinical gastroenterology and hepatology with a special clinical interest in therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Dr. Nathani believes in providing outstanding medical care and utilizing the latest knowledge and technology. He further believes that a patient's respect and dignity should be of utmost importance. Dr. Nathani is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, Gujrati and Memoni. Dr. Nathani joined the Gastroenterology Department at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in August 2007.​
