Monetra Johnson is a physician assistant to Dr. Donnie Aga, who cares for her patients at Main Campus. She assists Dr. Aga with treating a wide range of medical conditions and helping patients achieve optimal health through promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention. Monetra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in August 2012.

Hobbies and Interests
When Monetra is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She stays active by participating in boot camps, Group X exercise classes and running.

Monetra says the best advice she has ever received was “do all things with purpose, humility and love. Her favorite dessert is Sprinkle’s cupcakes, her favorite show is Grey’s Anatomy and her guilty pleasure is Goober, (a peanut butter and jelly mix) eaten straight out of the jar.
