MEET THE DOCTOR
Biography “Hearing loss is a comprehensive problem that touches almost every person in some way or another. I strive to help individuals and their families cope with hearing loss by educating them of options that can help them communicate effectively, whether by the assistance of listening devices, or other strategies that can assist in enhancing communication.”
Shala Sommers, AuD. joined Kelsey-Seybold in October 2006. She is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and cares for patients at The Woodlands Clinic and Spring Medical and Diagnostic Center.
Professional Background
Shala Sommers, AuD. graduated from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center with a Master of Communication in 2005. She completed her Doctorate of Audiology at Salus University in Elkins Park, Penn. in 2009.
