Rupesh Nigam, M.D. joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2011. Dr. Nigam cares for hospitalized patients at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital.
 
Professional Background
In 1997, Dr. Nigam graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College of the University of Pune in India. After graduation, he completed medical residency in India prior to his arrival to the United States.
 
Dr. Nigam spent close to 10 years in basic science and translational research at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He then continued medical training at The University of Texas Health Science Center to complete a residency in Internal Medicine in 2011.
 
Clinical Interests
Dr. Nigam’s clinical interests include hospital medicine and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.
