Randall Stavinoha, M.D. joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in September of 1995. He currently cares for non-operative orthopedic patients at the Main Campus and Spring clinic locations. Professional Background Dr. Stavinoha graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 1987 with a B.S. in Biomedical Science. He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1991. Dr. Stavinoha completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara, CA in 1994. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Santa Clara, Calif. in 1995. Dr. Stavinoha is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board certified in Primary Care Sports Medicine. Academic and Clinical Positions Dr. Stavinoha is involved in teaching musculoskeletal and sports medicine to Baylor Family Practice residents and is affiliated with St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital. Dr. Stavinoha has served on the medical standards committee and is an alternate on the Peer Review Committee at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Clinical Interests Dr. Stavinoha's clinical interests include Sports Medicine and Non-Operative Orthopedics. Professional Associations Dr. Stavinoha is an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Harris County Medical Society, and the Texas Medical Association.
Hobbies and Special Interests Dr. Stavinoha was born in Galveston, Texas, and raised in Houston, Texas, where he attended Memorial High School. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and his large extended family in Houston. He also enjoys traveling frequently to the Texas Hill Country.
