Maher Abbara, M.D. joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2009. He is certified by the Board of Internal Medicine and cares for his patients at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – The Vintage. Dr. Abbara speaks Arabic.
 
Professional Background
Dr. Abbara graduated from Damascus University College of Medicine in Syria in 1997. He completed his internship and residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Penn. in 2004.
 
Academic and Clinical Position
Dr. Abbara is a clinical instructor of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Abbara’s clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid disorders, hyperlipidemia and hypertension.
