“I seek to build a partnership with patients through listening, discussion, and education that serves as a base for the maintenance or improvement of women's health issues. Using state-of-the-art medical and minimally invasive surgical techniques, I strive to help patients quickly return to their busy, productive lifestyles.”
 
Dr. Joyce Holz joined Kelsey-Seybold in 1998. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and cares for her patients at our Main Campus.
 
Professional Background
After graduating from medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1987, Dr. Holz completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in 1991. Dr. Holz is fluent in Chinese.
 
Academic Position
Dr. Holz is faculty of the Kelsey-Seybold Family Practice residency program.
 
Clinical Interests
Dr. Holz’s clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, particularly laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and robotic techniques for:
  • fibroid tumors
  • endometriosis
  • bleeding disorders
  • benign gynecologic tumors
  • urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse
