Amita Patel, O.D. joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in April 2010. She speaks English, Gujarati and Hindi, and is certified by the Texas Board of Optometry. Dr. Patel cares for patients at our Clear Lake Medical Center and Main Campus locations.
Professional Background
Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Houston in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science. She continued her education at the university, graduating from the College of Optometry in 2006 where she focused in neuro-optometry and primary eye care for her internship. In 2007, Dr. Patel completed her residency at the VA Health Care System in at the Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
