Sheela Chandra, M.D., joined the Kelsey-Seybold Department of Gastroenterology in April 2008. Dr. Chandra is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Chandra sees patients at Kelsey-Seybold’s Spring Medical and Diagnostic Center and The Woodlands locations. Dr. Chandra is fluent in English, Kannada and Hindi and has basic proficiency in Spanish.
Professional Background
After earning her medical degree and completing an internship at Bangalore Medical College in India, Dr. Chandra completed her Internal Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, where went on to complete a Gastroenterology fellowship.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Chandra’s clinical interests include colon cancer screening, biliary and pancreatic disorders including ERCP's and inflammatory bowel disease.
