MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Dickinson has been practicing at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic since 1979. He received a B.A. in Biology from Rice University and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his internship at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and his residency at Baylor Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Dickinson is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society.

- Preventive medicine
Awards and Recognitions
Dr. Dickinson has been recognized with a prestigious national certification for excellence in caring for diabetic patients, awarded by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Certification through NCQA’s national Diabetes Recognition Program comes after a comprehensive, individualized review process to verify a physician’s adherence to national standards of excellence in caring for patients diagnosed with diabetes.

Dr. Dickinson has lectured locally and nationally on the diagnosis and treatment of migraines. He has also served as an investigator for clinical trials involving anti-depressants.
Dr. Dickinson has two teenage children, Kimberly and Robert.
When he isn’t motivating his patients to take charge of their health, Dr. Dickinson enjoys spending time with his family and singing in the church choir with another Kelsey-Seybold physician, Dr. Jerry Stephens, Senior Dermatologist with Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.
