MEET THE DOCTOR
“My practice philosophy is ‘The Golden Rule’ of patient care. I try to treat each patient in the manner that I would want my family members or myself to be treated.”
Dr. Webb joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in 1980. A board-certified Ophthalmologist, she currently serves as the Chief of her specialty. Dr. Webb cares for her patients at the Main Campus.
Professional Background
After completing her undergraduate training at The University of Texas, Dr. Webb went to medical school and completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Pathology at the school and was a full-time faculty member for one year before joining Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.
Academic and Clinical Position
Since 1981, Dr. Webb has been both Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Chief of Ophthalmology and a clinical associate professor at Baylor College of Medicine.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Webb’s clinical interests include oculoplastics, cataract surgery and glaucoma.
Publications
For the last three editions, Dr. Webb has acted as consultant to the American Medical Association for the ophthalmic chapter of their Guide to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment.

Hobbies and Special Interests
Dr. Webb is on the board of Lighthouse of Houston and is currently serving her second 10-year term. Since 1997, her involvement with Benevolent Missions International has taken her on mission trips to provide medical and surgical eye care for residents in Bolivia, El Salvador, Belize and Fiji. She is currently president of the board. In addition, she is on the board of the Kelsey- Research Foundation.
While her hobbies include needlepoint and piano, her loves include her granddaughter, who she tries to see as often as possible, and walking her two schnauzers.
