Lan Kelly Nguyen, M.D., joined the Pain Management and Rehabilitation Department at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic on March 2, 2009. Dr. Nguyen, who also speaks Vietnamese, is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and cares for her patients at our Humble and Main Campus locations.
Professional Background
Dr. Nguyen earned her medical degree at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tn., and completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, part of Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
Clinical Interests
Her clinical interests include orthoses, acute and chronic pain, musculoskeletal injury, spasticity, and stroke and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. Her goal is to reduce or relieve pain; to restore functional ability; and to restore quality of life lost due to illness or injury, so that patients can again enjoy the things they used to do.

Hobbies and Special Interests
Dr. Nguyen is married with one child. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys traveling and is an avid tennis player.
