Dr. Landon joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in 1993, and currently serves as the Chief of Orthopedics. He cares for his patients primarily at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, but also sees them at Clear Lake Clinic and at the Main Campus. Dr. Landon is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Professional Background
After earning a Bachelor of Science at Carnegie-Mellon University in 1972, Dr. Landon attended medical school at the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. In 1979, he completed his residency with the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery.

In addition to studies in joint surgery of the hip and knee, Dr. Landon’s clinical interests also include infections associated with orthopedic devices.

Dr. Landon has published a wealth of abstracts and papers and books. He wrote Physical Examination of the Adult Hip Joint and authored chapter 8 of the book Physical Examination of the Musculoskeletal System.
