“My goal in the delivery of patient care is to empower the patient with knowledge and to work together as a team with the patient to improve outcome. Patients come to an improved level of understanding when the origin of the underlying problem is explained and pros and cons of treatment options are discussed.”
Edith Rumbaut, M.D. joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in 2002. She is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Rumbaut, who is fluent in Spanish, cares for her patients at our Main Campus and Shadow Creek Ranch locations.
Professional Background
Dr. Rumbaut graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1989 before going on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Missouri in 1995. In 1998, she completed her residency at the university’s Health Science Center in
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
