WHAT
Prime of Our Lives is an interactive educational program designed to discuss health topics of importance to women 45 years and older. Participants will meet once a month for a lunchtime roundtable seminar at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Main Campus or West Clinic. Each session costs $5 and includes lunch with two days advanced registration.
Topics to be covered during the five-month series include:
“Understanding Menopause and Making Choices” – July session
“Mental Health: The Path to Self-Awareness” – August session
“Putting Your Heart Into Your Health” – September session
“Cancer: Understanding and Managing Your Risks” – October session
“Keeping Healthy Bones, Muscles and Joints” – November session
WHY
“The information provided during the sessions is essential in assisting all women ages 45 and older to make more educated decisions and choices regarding their health and well-being,” said Tammie Anderson, supervisor of the Health Information Center at the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Main Campus.
