Kelsey-Seybold Breaks Ground on Comprehensive Medical and Diagnostic Facility in Northwest Houston
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic broke ground on its “Medical Office of the Future” in spring 2007 on a 10-acre parcel from V&W Partners, Ltd. — the first step in its plans to develop a 60,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art medical and diagnostic center. Kelsey-Seybold’s latest medical office will be part of a 640-acre master-planned development, called The Vintage, located near the HP campus in Northwest Houston, at the corner of Louetta on State Highway 249.

When completed, patients of the new clinic will find comprehensive multi-specialty care with more than 20 physicians complemented by services including on-site Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT), digital X-ray and mammography services, laboratory and pharmacy, for a one-stop healthcare experience. The facility will also feature a 12,000-square-foot St. Luke’s Minor Emergency Center providing patient care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and staffed by St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System Emergency Room physicians and medical personnel.
“As the northwest communities continue to expand, so do local families’ needs for comprehensive and convenient medical services,” said Spencer Berthelsen, M.D., Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Chairman of the Board. “Our new facility at The Vintage will enable patients to visit a physician, have clinical laboratory services or diagnostic procedures performed, and have prescriptions filled all under one roof and in their neighborhood.”
The Vintage is a joint venture of Kickerillo Companies and Mischer Investments under the newly-formed V&W Partners, Ltd. The development will feature a Central Market H-E-B, single-family homes, apartment homes and an open-air shopping center modeled after Uptown Park in the Galleria area. Harrell Architects will design the Clinic, which will serve as the new home for the physicians and staff currently housed at Kelsey-Seybold’s Willowbrook Clinic.

Spring Medical and Diagnostic Center – Now Open!
Kelsey-Seybold’s Spring Medical and Diagnostic Center opened on August 15, 2005, at 15655 Cypress Woods Medical Drive, Suite 100. This state-of-the-art facility brings together the physicians and staff previously located at our Champions and Spring Clinics. The 68,824 square foot clinic offers many new services and specialists to the community, including Gastroenterology, Urology and Sports Medicine and the convenience of an on-site pharmacy.
Kelsey-Seybold will soon take the concept of “saving time” to a new level. The Spring Medical and Diagnostic Center will be one of the first locations to offer a state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Scheduled for launch in 2006, this new technology will enable patients to schedule appointments and check their lab results online.

Fort Bend Medical and Diagnostic Center– Now Open!
The new Fort Bend Medical and Diagnostic Center continues the Kelsey-Seybold tradition of bringing together primary care, specialty care and diagnostic services in one convenient location. Located at University Boulevard and Highway 6, this state-of-the-art, 75,000 square foot facility is the new home for the physicians and staff previously located at the Quail Valley, Sugar Land and First Colony Clinics. For added patient convenience, this facility offers Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT) scan, X-ray, mammography and an on-site pharmacy.
