Kelsey-Seybold to Build New Multispecialty Care Center in Cypress
New, standalone clinic will expand services offered in the growing area off U.S. 290 West
Houston (September 18, 2018) – Today Kelsey-Seybold announced plans to build a new, state-of-the-art, standalone medical clinic in the Cypress area, replacing the existing Cypress Clinic. The new, four-story clinic will be located at 13105 Wortham Center Drive, Houston, Texas 77065 in the heart of Cy-Fair ISD. The $28 million clinic will improve patient experience and convenience, expanding the current services offerings in the ever-expanding Cypress community and surrounding area.
“Anyone who lives or works off Highway 290 knows this area has been and is booming. Where individuals and families work and live, there will always be a need for medical services,” said Cecilia Fowler, Director of Ambulatory Care, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. “Our new, standalone clinic will offer residents in the area expanded services, including more specialties and additional diagnostic capabilities.”
The new four-story Cypress Clinic will more than triple its square footage from 28,000 to 72,000 square feet, with room for up to 35 physicians. On opening day, patients will have access to physicians specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Gastroenterology, Optometry, Podiatry, and Orthopedics, with plans to add additional specialties like Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonary, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Audiology, just to name a few.
The new clinic will also offer patients expanded medical and diagnostic testing to include radiology (CT/MRI), ultrasound, 3D mammography, bone density, and laboratory services. Patients will continue to have the convenience of an on-site pharmacy to fill prescriptions.
