Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Gulfgate expands access to coordinated, evidence-based care serving Houston's Southeast residents

HOUSTON (Nov. 15, 2021) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic opened a 19,137-square-foot clinic today in Gulfgate Shopping Center, expanding access to coordinated, evidence-based care in an area with limited primary healthcare options. Gulfgate Clinic is located at 520 Gulfgate Center Mall, Houston, TX 77087, at the northeast corner of the intersection of I-45 and Loop 610 S.

The Gulfgate Clinic opening comes on the heels of four other clinic openings in 2021 including: Memorial City, Lake Jackson, North Channel, and River Oaks, as well as an expansion of Pasadena Clinic. Additional openings and announcements are planned for later this year.

The new Gulfgate Clinic is an integral part of Kelsey-Seybold's strategy of providing convenient access to all patients in the South Central region of Houston. In addition to primary care services for adults and children, patients will have access to an on-site pharmacy, laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound, 3D digital mammography, and other diagnostic testing.

For more specialized services, patients may be referred to the nearby Berthelsen Main Campus, which has more than 100 physicians, an ambulatory surgery center, cancer center, breast diagnostic center, nuclear medicine, PET-CT, as well as in-house MRI and CT.

Gulfgate Clinic is the final piece of Kelsey-Seybold's Ship Channel strategy, with clinic locations that surround this major employment base in all directions – Gulfgate (west), North Channel (north), Baytown (east), and Pasadena (south). These locations will give Ship Channel employees and those living in nearby communities easy access to high-quality, convenient medical care they deserve and value.
