Kelsey-Seybold Earns Highest Ambulatory Health Care Accreditation Status
AAAHC says Kelsey-Seybold “raises the bar to a very high level”
HOUSTON (March 1, 2010) – The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) has re-accredited Kelsey-Seybold Clinic for a three-year term, the highest status granted by the premier accreditor for ambulatory, or outpatient, health care organizations. The award followed an intensive quality inspection of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic that assessed compliance with national best practice standards.
Accreditation is a voluntary process involving self-assessment by an organization as well as a thorough review by the AAAHC's expert surveyors, who are themselves, ambulatory healthcare professionals.
