Kelsey-Seybold Appoints Dr. Cherice Conley-Harvey as Managing Physician of Second Pearland Location
Second multispecialty center in Pearland slated to open in March
HOUSTON (Jan. 13, 2010) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has appointed Cherice Conley-Harvey, MD, as managing physician of its new multispecialty center at Shadow Creek Ranch in Pearland, which is scheduled to open in March.
Dr. Conley-Harvey joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2000 and currently practices at Kelsey-Seybold’s Clear Lake-Gemini Clinic. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. After graduating from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1997, Dr. Conley-Harvey completed her internship in 1998 at Baylor College of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency at the college.

The Shadow Creek location will double Kelsey-Seybold’s clinical space and expand its medical staff in Pearland. Construction on the 10,000-square-foot facility is underway, which is located within the existing 78,000-square-foot Pearland Medical Building at Shadow Creek Parkway and Texas Highway 288. The new multispecialty center will be located about 3 miles from Kelsey-Seybold’s Silverlake Clinic, the current Pearland location which opened in 2000.
The Shadow Creek Ranch location will offer medical care services including Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spine and Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. The center will also provide routine diagnostic and ancillary services, including laboratory, X-ray and ultrasound services. Kelsey-Seybold’s original location at Silverlake will continue to offer primary care services for the entire family, with specialists in Family Medicine and Pediatrics.
Pearland is the fastest growing community in the Houston metropolitan area and also ranks 34th in the nation for population growth, according to Forbes magazine.
Kelsey-Seybold and the Pearland Chamber of Commerce plan to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in April 2010, and offer additional opportunities for education during the rest of the year.
