What is Easy Access to Specialists?
Open Access enables you to visit a Kelsey-Seybold staff specialist without a referral from your Primary Care Physician (PCP). In most cases, you can simply call and make an appointment.

Do I still need a Primary Care Physician?
Yes. You should continue to see your Primary Care Physician for most medical problems.

How do I see affiliated specialists who are not on the Kelsey-Seybold staff?
When necessary, your Primary Care Physician will refer you to an affiliated specialist for medical care not offered by a Kelsey-Seybold staff specialist. In this case, a formal referral and approval is required.
